Jaime lands near a huge pile of scrap in the junkyard. Away from the sight of El Paso's newest "guest". He was anxious beyond belief. So anxious that he didn't dare tell anyone that he had gotten a message from the famous Blue Beetle.
The real Blue Beetle. Who's name and gimmick Jaime was kinda sorta using. In Jaime's defence he thought Ted Kord was dead at the time.
Something was feeling off. Bad vibes being sent from the scarab. Jaime could hear it clicking away inside his head. Saying something. But it was frantic and hard to make out.
Jaime would of bugged out but Mr Kord's message was clear and Jaime thought he deserved an explanation for why Ted's mentor's scarab was bonded to some punk kid.
Jaime takes a moment to compose himself and choke down those "homely" junkyard smells. He then walks out to meet Ted.
"uhh, hi. Ted-dude. Um - Beetle guy. Blue Beetle I mean. My name is... wait I'm not supposed to tell you that am I?
Jaime raised his hand. Expecting an awkward handshake.
